Claustrophobia is the fear of small spaces. It can be caused by many factors, especially in puzzle rooms that tend to be quite confined. Is it possible to play in an escape room despite having claustrophobia? We will try to answer this question today and clear up some of your fears.
PUZZLE ROOMS ARE NOT SO SCARY
Let’s first start by explaining a few things that will surely show you that visiting an escape room is safe fun:
Firstly, at Gamescape Krakow, the doors to puzzle rooms are not locked. Even if one does happen to be locked, you will certainly have the option to leave at any stage of the game by using the emergency exit button. Knowing that you can leave the room at any time will give you, above all, a sense of security and comfort, which is most important in the case of claustrophobia.
The second important piece of information is that most rooms are spacious and the number of participants is adjusted so that the room is not crowded. This way you will all have enough space. However, if you are concerned that the room may be divided into small rooms, you can always call the Game Masters and ask if this is indeed the case. You can probably find this information on the escape room’s website too.
The last thing you need to know – puzzle rooms have this in common: you will focus very quickly on the mission or puzzles and will most likely get distracted, allowing you to throw yourself into the fun.
