ESCAPE ROOM IN ENGLISH? THAT’S A YES FROM US!

ESCAPE ROOM IN ENGLISH? THAT’S A YES FROM US!

Guests, dear guests…
Hey, you may remember our recent post about puzzle rooms for families? If that rings a bell, but you’re not exactly sure, or simply haven’t yet had a chance to familiarize yourself with the aforementioned text (which we strongly encourage you to do! ;)), then let us quickly recall the story described there.

Well: imagine that some time ago your aunt from the States called you and announced to you that she was planning to come with her relatives to Cracow to see you and the rest of the family. You receive this news with great joy – after all, you haven’t seen your aunt in years! However, when your caller ends the call, you suddenly realize that you will, after all, have to somehow organize the time for yourself and your guests!

YES, YES, YES

Preferably in such a way that everyone will have a great time, enjoy each other’s company, and see a part of the city! Slightly panicked, you start frantically typing into Google passwords like “weekend in Cracow what to do ” and “what to do in Cracow at the weekend”. Of course, suggestions start popping up that you could easily come up with on your own. However, among them, you notice something that catches your eye for a longer time… “Escape room Cracow”…

Museums and restaurants sound tempting, but you realize that what you’ve just stumbled upon could be a real gem in your plan of attractions – an original, unusual idea and a bit of adrenaline, that’s what you’d like to give your guests. A memory of incredible fun!

Or maybe you didn’t have to imagine it at all, because you found yourself in a very similar situation? If so, we invite you to continue reading! We hope you’ll enjoy it… 😉

PUZZLE ROOMS – AND WHAT ARE THEY?

There’s a good chance you’re encountering this term for the first time – there’s nothing wrong with that! Anyway, we’ll be happy to explain to you what this form of play is all about and what it looks like in Gamescape 😉

READY? HERE WE GO!

Are you familiar with role-playing games? How does it work? A group of participants (ideally up to seven people per team) take on the roles set by the given scenario. Sounds trivial, doesn’t it? 🙂 Now imagine that the scenario determines not only who the players will be, but also describes the entire plot and outlines the mission ahead (in case of our rooms, you are given 60 minutes to reach the goal). And how to do it?

Scattered around the room are various puzzles that need to be solved step by step. If, during the course of the game, the group decides it wants to take a hint, it can get it from the Game Master, an almost omniscient person! To connect with this alpha and omega you’ll use the walkie-talkie handed out before the game … And that’s basically all! There’s nothng more to it! 😀

WELL, BUT WHAT IN CASE YOUR AUNT FORGOT POLISH?

Escape room in English is the opportunity to talk to the Game Master precisely in this language. You will also see bilingual or universal (non-verbal) puzzles that all participants of the game will surely grasp without any problem! 😉

OUR SCENARIOS

If you’re wondering what roles you can play, we’ve got a little cheat sheet for you 😉 We’ve decided to summarize the plots of some of our rooms, so you don’t have to go to any extra trouble. Find out what attractions we have prepared for you! 😀

Anatomy of Crime 2.0 – a criminal atmosphere, which will take you to the streets of Craow shrouded in darkness, and will make you and your team momentarily transform into justice-seeking criminologists. Your task will be to find out the identity of a serial killer prowling Kazimierz and put him behind bars.

Dead Men’s Chest – a pirate adventure for true adventurers… and treasure hunters! You and your crew must go to an unknown island, where some mysterious chests went ashore. Legend has it that they contain valuables of long-dead buccaneers. Will you be so brave as to reach for the trunk stuffed with gold?

C.H.I.M.E.R.A protocol – a real treat for fans of Dan Brown’s books! If you’re interested in art, have a knack for solving unobvious puzzles, and aren’t afraid to move around a bit – here’s a game perfect for you! Stop the dangerous SpiderTech organization and save the world from the effects of a dangerous virus!

Here are some of our suggestions, check out more at gamescape.pl – choose whichever suits you best! 😀 Each of them is equally engaging, intriguing and loaded with a whole lot of great fun!

THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE PERFECT IDEA FOR THE WEEKEND, RIGHT?

Of course, it does! After all, our escape room Cracow will provide you and your family with the opportunity to feel the power of cooperation because without it, it’s difficult to complete the mission. And this will certainly make you experience firsthand what the power of family ties means! In addition, an escape room in English is a great opportunity to improve your language skills 😉 And don’t forget that you and your team will get a unique opportunity to finally realize your childhood dreams and become world-famous criminologists, undercover cops or adventurers!
